Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb expressed optimism that a reduction in inflation would shift Pakistan’s economic trajectory from stabilization to growth.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, speaking at the launch of the Pakistan Economy Dashboard in Islamabad, Aurangzeb highlighted that the recent decline in inflation has exceeded expectations and he remains hopeful that this trend will continue to bolster the economy.
The Finance Minister stressed the importance of structural reforms to achieve lasting macroeconomic stability. He also discussed the newly launched Economy Dashboard, emphasizing its role in fostering transparency and a fact-based approach to economic management. Aurangzeb expressed confidence that this tool would greatly improve the economic landscape and enhance the quality of interactions with stakeholders.
