Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, convened with Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, to discuss the enhancement of the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme. This scheme is pivotal in fostering entrepreneurship among the youth by offering accessible business loans through various banking channels.
According to Press Information Department, the meeting provided a platform for Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan to detail the current operations and structure of the loan scheme, which is divided into three tiers. Discussions also delved into the potential introduction of additional tiers to expand the program’s reach and efficacy.
Senator Aurangzeb lauded the initiative as a critical asset for supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and underscored its significance in promoting economic growth and entrepreneurial ventures among young Pakistanis.
