Islamabad: In a significant push to bolster youth entrepreneurship, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, convened in Islamabad to discuss enhancements to the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting involved a thorough review of the scheme, which offers business loans on favorable terms through Commercial, Islamic, and SME banks. The current structure, featuring three operational tiers, was evaluated, with considerations for adding more levels to increase accessibility and impact.
Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb expressed his support for the initiative, noting its importance in fostering small and medium enterprises and stimulating economic growth. The discussions further highlighted the government’s dedication to creating more opportunities for young entrepreneurs and promoting sustainable business practices throughout the nation.
