Finance Division Allocates Additional Rs17.4 billion to ECP for General Elections

Islamabad, The Finance Division of Pakistan has allocated an additional sum of Rs17.4 billion to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), facilitating the conduct of the upcoming general elections. This funding is in addition to the Rs10 billion previously released in July, bringing the total financial support for this electoral exercise to Rs27.4 billion.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this recent financial provision underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring a smooth electoral process.
