ISLAMABAD, Today marks the last day for undocumented foreign nationals, including Afghans, to leave Pakistan, continuing the ongoing repatriation process set by the government.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the directive emphasizes that all illegal foreign nationals, prominently Afghans, need to exit Pakistan by Wednesday. While Pakistan has long been a hospitable neighbour, providing refuge to Afghans for several decades, the decision to repatriate them is considered crucial for the enduring peace of both nations and the broader region. The departing Afghans are reportedly using the Torkham and Chaman border points for their exit.
