Final Day for Scrutiny of Nomination Papers for General Elections Approaches


Karachi, The scrutiny process of the nomination papers filed by candidates for the upcoming general elections is set to conclude tomorrow. This marks a critical phase in the election timeline, ensuring that all candidates meet the necessary criteria for participation.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, following the scrutiny process, appeals against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers can be submitted until the third of next month. Decisions on these appeals will be finalized by the tenth. The candidates’ list will be displayed on the eleventh of January, providing candidates the opportunity to withdraw by the twelfth. Subsequently, electoral symbols will be allotted on the thirteenth.
