Federal Public Service Commission Announces Open Auction for Unserviceable Equipment

Islamabad: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is set to host an open auction for unserviceable electronic equipment, hardware, and furniture on November 11, 2024. The auction will occur at FPSC Headquarters, located on Aga Khan Road, F-5/1, Islamabad at 10:30 am. Items will be sold on an “as is” and “where is” basis, with all transactions requiring bidders to comply with set terms and conditions.

According to Federal Public Service Commission, the auction will feature items from two different lots as specified in the Annex-I (Lot-I) and Annex-II (Lot-II). Potential bidders are required to provide a refundable bid security of Rs. 25,000. Detailed information, including eligibility criteria and bid submission requirements, can be downloaded from the PPRA and FPSC websites. Bidders must also ensure that they have not been blacklisted by any government department or organization at the time of their bid submission.

The successful bidder will need to deposit the quoted bid amount along with applicable taxes at designated banks before collecting the auctioned items. Any bids lower than the reserve price set by the disposal committee for the lots will be rejected. The FPSC has reserved the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time before acceptance, as provided under Rule 33 of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
