Islamabad: Federal Parliamentary Secretary Cabinet Division, Syed Sajid Mehdi, visited the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) headquarters today where he was briefed on the organization’s key functions and achievements. Director General Ms. Shazia Adnan outlined the role of IPO-Pakistan in managing trademarks, copyrights, patents, and geographical indications, as well as its involvement in international treaties.
According to Press Information Department, during his visit, Syed Sajid Mehdi expressed appreciation for the IPO-Pakistan team’s commitment to fostering innovation and the protection of intellectual property rights across the country. The discussion highlighted the organization’s strategic importance in enhancing Pakistan’s intellectual property framework, which is essential for economic growth and innovation.
