Islamabad, Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi, in a seminar held in Islamabad, emphasized the critical role of academic institutions in preparing youth to combat the growing threat of cybercrimes. He stressed the need for educational institutes to focus on promoting the positive use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Qureshi pointed out the effective grievance resolution mechanism implemented by the federal ombudsman secretariat in Islamabad and its seventeen regional offices across Pakistan. He advocated for concerted efforts by academic institutions to equip the younger generation with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the digital landscape safely and responsibly.
