Federal Minister Meets Kashmir Council Members to Discuss Development Projects and Regional Challenges


Islamabad, Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs and Safran, Engineer Amir Muqam, met with members of the Kashmir Council in Islamabad to discuss various issues related to the development and welfare of the region. The delegation from the Kashmir Council included Khawaja Tariq Saeed Advocate, Shuja Rathore, Younis Mir, Hanif Malik, Sardar Razak, and Sardar Adnan Khalid.



According to Press Information Department – Azad Jammu and Kashmir, during the meeting, the delegation congratulated Engineer Amir Muqam on his appointment as Federal Minister and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. The discussion focused on development projects, regional issues, and the challenges faced by the people of the Kashmir region.



Engineer Amir Muqam assured the delegation of the Ministry’s commitment to providing all possible support to address the challenges faced by the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the working relationship between the Federation and the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to ensure that problems are addressed without discrimination.



The Minister reiterated his commitment to ensuring a collaborative approach to solving the issues facing the region. He noted that the Ministry is actively engaged in supporting development projects and addressing the needs of the people in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.



The meeting highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve the lives of people in the region and the commitment to fostering a strong relationship between the Federation and the local government to achieve common goals. The Federal Minister’s pledge to work without discrimination was welcomed by the members of the Kashmir Council as a positive step toward addressing the concerns of the local population.
