Islamabad, Federal Minister Madad Ali Sindhi attended the inter-school and inter-collegiate level sports competitions as the chief guest, an event organized by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad on 15th November, 2023. The competitions brought together students from various educational directorates for matric and intermediate level sports.
According to Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad hosted these competitions for the academic year 2022-2023. Federal Minister of Education Madad Ali Sindhi, speaking at the event, emphasized the importance of sports in enhancing national health, promoting quality lifestyles, and providing a stress-free environment. He highlighted the role of sports in physical strengthening, personality development, character building, and cultivating leadership skills.
Minister Sindhi pointed out that sports contribute to raising a country’s health standards, leading to improved quality of life and reduced burden on the health sector. Chairman of the Federal Board Qaiser Alam echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the significance of sports in children’s development and the need for their full support. He assured that the Federal Board would continue to back children in all sports activities to aid in their development.
The event concluded with the distribution of trophies, medals, and certificates to institutes, directorates, and players who demonstrated outstanding performance and achievements in the competitions. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to fostering sports and physical education in the academic curriculum, recognizing its integral role in holistic student development.
