Federal Minister Inspects Sambaryal to Kharian Motorway, Emphasizes Timely Completion

Islamabad, Federal Minister of Communications, Privatization, and Board of Investment, Abdul Aleem Khan, conducted an aerial inspection of the Sambaryal to Kharian Motorway, emphasizing the need for its swift completion to international standards for enhanced intercity travel connectivity.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Abdul Aleem Khan was briefed on the progress of the motorway project by senior officers of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The Minister underscored the importance of expediting construction efforts to ensure efficient and seamless travel for citizens between cities.

Accompanied by the Secretary of Communications, Chairman of the National Highway Authority, and Director General of FWO, Minister Abdul Aleem Khan also evaluated the construction advancements of Southern Loop 3 and Loop 4 of the Lahore Ring Road project near Kala Shakako. He received a detailed briefing from the National Highway Authority regarding the ongoing work.

During the inspection, Minister Abdul Aleem Khan reiterated the government’s commitment to transparency and timely completion of national infrastructure projects. He emphasized the significance of adhering to international standards in construction practices to meet the growing demands of the populace for improved transportation networks.

The Minister’s directives emphasized the imperative of ensuring the efficient completion of both the Sambaryal to Kharian Motorway and the Lahore Ring Road project, underscoring their strategic importance for facilitating seamless intercity travel and enhancing connectivity across the region.
