Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has issued a strong condemnation of the recent terrorist attacks in Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and Kohat, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several security personnel. The attacks included a deadly assault on a Frontier Corps checkpoint in Dera Ismail Khan that killed 10 and wounded three, as well as targeted shootings of police officers in Bannu and Kohat.
According to Press Information Department, Minister Naqvi expressed profound sorrow over the losses and paid tribute to the officers and personnel involved, particularly highlighting the sacrifices of the Frontier Corps and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. He acknowledged the fallen officers, including SHO Jani Khel, Constable, and Sub-Inspector Inayatullah, as heroes whose contributions to peace and security in the region will not be forgotten.
The Minister extended his condolences to the bereaved families and reiterated the nation’s commitment to supporting them, describing these families as pillars of national pride. “The martyrs will always be remembered, as they have rendered invaluable sacrifice for the establishment of peace in the country,” Naqvi stated, affirming the collective resolve to combat terrorism.
