Islamabad, December 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain chaired a high-powered meeting today on 29th December, 2022 to implement comprehensive Teachers Training Program at FDE schools. He said that this program will act as a model for the rest of the Pakistan to follow.
Minister was briefed by NCC Director Ms. Mariam Chughtai that the required curriculum has been devised and for teachers from class 1 – 8. The trainings will commence in January 2023 and will ensure that the teachers are fully equipped to perform their tasks diligently. Minister said that quality of Education, which largely relates to capacity building of our teaching faculty, is one of the top priority areas set by his ministry. He said the he has tasked NCC, FDE and FCE for devising a comprehensive Teachers Training Program at FDE schools, which will be launched in the New Year 2023.
Rana Tanveer said that he and his team is heavily focusing on teachers training challenge. It is vital to have trained academic workforce. Our upcoming Teachers Training Programme will cover all aspects of National Curriculum of Pakistan (NCP) and it will train/equip our teachers with latest educational and technological interventions.
