Federal Minister for Education Stresses on Skills Development for Pakistani Youth

Lahore, Caretaker Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Madad Ali Sindhi, emphasized the crucial role of skills development and technical education for the youth in driving Pakistan’s economic progress. He addressed these points at a function in Lahore, highlighting the need to enhance youth employability.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Sindhi pointed out that the future of Pakistan relies on improving both soft and hard skills required in the workplace, especially among the youth. He expressed concern over the current state of public sector schools, advocating for significant improvements as these institutions educate about 80 percent of Pakistan’s children. The minister’s emphasis on skills development reflects a strategic approach to equipping the younger generation with necessary competencies for the modern job market.
