Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain Honors Martyrs at Army Graveyard in Rawalpindi


Rawalpindi: Chaudhry Salik Hussain, the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, paid a solemn visit to the Army Graveyard at Racecourse to honor fallen heroes on Defence Day. The minister offered prayers and laid floral wreaths on the graves of distinguished servicemen including Lt Col Anwar Abbas Butt, Brigadier Sardar Nadeem Iqbal Khan, and Captain Muhammad Kashif.



According to Press Information Department, the visit by Minister Hussain was marked by a ceremony that paid homage to the sacrifices of Pakistani soldiers who have died in the line of duty. The Minister expressed his deep respect for the martyrs, recognizing their bravery and the profound loss felt by their families. “Martyrs sacrificed their lives to save Pakistan from hostile elements and the nation will always remember the sacrifices of our brave soldiers,” he stated during the tribute. He also emphasized the national commitment to continuing the legacy of courage shown by these soldiers in pursuit of a stronger Pakistan.
