Islamabad: In a significant endorsement of national security efforts, Abdul Aleem Khan, the Federal Minister for Privatization, Board of Investment, and Communications, emphasized the critical need for eradicating terrorism and supporting the ‘Azam-e-Istehkam’ operation to stabilize the country. He discussed these national priorities during a meeting with G G Jamal, a senior leader from the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
According to Press Information Department, Minister Khan, in his discussion with Jamal, condemned attacks on Pakistan Forces and stressed the importance of stringent actions against those who threaten state security. He assured full support for the ‘Azam-e-Istehkam’ operation, asserting that patriotism demands collective efforts to safeguard the nation’s future.
Minister Khan also highlighted the pivotal role of law and order in fostering investment and overall development, acknowledging the efforts of various institutions in maintaining stability. He pointed out that KPK, serving as a strategic ‘Gateway’ to China, Afghanistan, and Central Asia, is prioritized for development projects like inter-provincial highways and motorways, which are essential for the region’s economic integration and accessibility.
On his part, G G Jamal expressed gratitude towards Minister Khan and assured him of diligent execution of party directives to enhance IPP’s activities in KPK, underscoring a united front in addressing the challenges faced by the common man and the nation at large.
