Federal Law Minister Assures Timely Elections Amidst Regulatory Enhancements

Islamabad: Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, the Federal Minister for Law and Justice, assured representatives from various Bar Associations that the upcoming Provincial Bar Council elections will proceed as scheduled, with no amendments to the existing legal framework. However, he noted that improvements in the regulations are being considered to enhance transparency in the electoral process.

The meeting was attended by presidents and secretaries from Bar Associations of Gujrat, Chiniot, Talagang, Bhalwal, Phalia, Pind Dadan Khan, Kamoke, and others. Discussions included ongoing development projects and future initiatives aimed at supporting the legal community.

Minister Tarar also announced financial grants to the Bar Associations, which are intended for the renovation and development of their offices. These improvements aim to foster a more conducive working environment for legal professionals.
