Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi marked the National Day of Saudi Arabia with a visit to the Saudi Embassy in the diplomatic enclave where he was warmly welcomed by the Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Ahmed Al-Maliki. During his visit, Naqvi extended his congratulations and well-wishes to the Kingdom and its people, acknowledging the strong support Saudi Arabia has provided to Pakistan during various crises.
According to Press Information Department, the Interior Minister expressed his gratitude towards the Saudi government and Ambassador Al-Maliki for their steadfast support during challenging times including natural disasters and economic issues. “Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan, whether during floods, earthquakes, economic or other challenges. Their support has been unparalleled,” stated Naqvi. He emphasized the special esteem in which every Muslim holds Saudi Arabia, praising the consistent support from the Kingdom through all adversities, and highlighting the deep-rooted friendship between the two nations.
The Saudi Ambassador reciprocated the sentiments, affirming the high value Saudi Arabia places on its relationship with Pakistan, describing the bond between the two countries as brotherly.
