Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently honored Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed, a distinguished war hero from the September 1965 conflict, emphasizing his courageous sacrifices for the country. In a tribute that highlighted the Major’s heroic deeds, Naqvi said Bhatti’s actions constituted a significant chapter in the nation’s military history.
According to Press Information Department, Naqvi praised Major Bhatti for his bravery and ultimate sacrifice during the war, where he confronted enemy forces and thwarted their plans. “Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed wrote a chapter of bravery and courage by sacrificing his precious life for the defense of the country,” Naqvi stated. He expressed that Major Bhatti’s valor and dedication are celebrated nationwide and his legacy continues to inspire. “The nation salutes the sacrifice of Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed. His eternal sacrifice will always be remembered, and he will be always alive in our hearts,” Naqvi added.
