Federal Interior Minister Honors Quaid-e-Azam on 76th Death Anniversary


Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commemorated the 76th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, emphasizing the enduring relevance of Jinnah’s principles and leadership in shaping Pakistan. In his tribute, Naqvi highlighted the qualities of Jinnah’s leadership that contributed to the creation of an independent state and stressed the importance of adhering to these principles for national unity and progress.



According to Press Information Department, Naqvi in his message praised Quaid-e-Azam for his political foresight, tireless struggle, and moral integrity, which set him apart as a leader. He remarked on the impossibility of repaying the debt to Quaid-e-Azam for the independence of Pakistan, stating that his vision allowed citizens to live freely in their homeland. Naqvi also pointed out that in Jinnah’s vision for Pakistan, all citizens, including minorities, are afforded equal rights, and no superiority is given based on language, class, or group.



The Federal Interior Minister expressed concern that Pakistan has fallen behind internationally due to not adhering to Jinnah’s principles, which he described as a beacon of light. He emphasized that the secret to Pakistan’s progress lies in following these teachings. Naqvi urged the nation to remember Quaid-e-Azam’s continuous struggle and to commit to fulfilling their responsibilities towards the country’s development and stability, in line with Jinnah’s guidelines. He called for a renewal of the pledge to move forward with unity, faith, and discipline, principles that were deeply espoused by Quaid-e-Azam.
