Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the terrorist attack on a polio team in Orakzai, paying tribute to the bravery of two police personnel who were martyred in the line of duty. The attack, which highlights ongoing security challenges, underscores the risks faced by health workers in the region.
According to Press Information Department, Naqvi commended the police for neutralizing three terrorists, stating that the martyred personnel courageously foiled the terrorists’ plans. He emphasized that the fallen officers are national heroes who sacrificed their lives to protect the polio team. Naqvi described the attack as an assault on Pakistan’s future and expressed that the nation salutes the brave police personnel for their sacrifice.
