Federal Hospitals in Islamabad on High Alert for Ashura Following Health Coordinator’s Directive

Islamabad: In preparation for the upcoming Ashura observances, all four federal hospitals in the city have been placed on high alert as per the directives of Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Health. This action aims to ensure that all necessary medical facilities are prepped and responsive during this significant period.

According to Press Information Department, Dr. Bharath has ordered the implementation of specific preventive measures to effectively manage any emergencies. This includes the pre-arrangement of essential medical supplies in emergency departments, readiness of vacant hospital beds, and the availability of medical staff to handle potential emergencies during Ashura.

Special attention is also being given to maintaining sufficient blood supplies of various groups to meet urgent needs. These measures underscore the government’s commitment to safeguard the health and safety of the community during religious observances, ensuring that medical facilities are prepared to offer immediate care.
