Karachi, November 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at Governor House. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Revenue Tariq Bahwa and Governor State Bank Jameel Ahmed were also present on this occasion.
In the meeting, the overall economic situation of the country, problems of traders and industrialists, measures to provide relief to the people, provision of funds for the development projects of the province and other issues of mutual interest were discussed. Governor Sandhu said that the business of the province Community problems need to be solved on priority basis to ensure rapid industrial development.
He further said that being the economic hub of the country, Karachi deserves special attention and the supply of electricity and gas to the industries here is essential for the economic development of the country. Governor Sindh apprised the Federal Finance Minister about efforts to create consensus among various stakeholders of the province and the problems of traders and industrialists.
