Federal Finance Minister Discusses Regulatory Reforms with Jacobs, Cordova and Associates MD


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with Mr. Scott Jacobs, Managing Director of Jacobs, Cordova and Associates, to discuss regulatory reforms aimed at enhancing the business environment in Pakistan.



According to Press Information Department, the meeting, held at the Finance Division, included the Secretary Board of Investment and officials from relevant ministries. The discussions focused on streamlining the regulatory framework to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment. Mr. Jacobs proposed a comprehensive review and overhaul of the existing regulatory processes to achieve impactful results.



Senator Aurangzeb emphasized the significance of these reforms and the necessity for targeted assistance to ensure their effective implementation. The meeting also identified specific sectors where urgent reforms are needed to improve operations and regulatory oversight, with both parties agreeing on a structured approach to these changes.
