Islamabad, The Federal Cabinet has commended the caretaker government for its initiatives aimed at departmental restructuring, fostering foreign investment, and improving the ease of doing business in Pakistan. The commendation came during a meeting chaired by caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the cabinet approved the Turkish Armed Forces Legion of Merit Award for Army Chief General Asim Munir, recognizing his contributions to enhancing Pakistan-Turkey defense cooperation. Additionally, the meeting greenlighted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Ministry of National Food Security and the UAE-based Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agriculture Innovation. This agreement sets the stage for the inaugural Pakistan Date Palm Festival in September, aiming to boost date production within the country.
Prime Minister Kakar, in his remarks, highlighted the caretaker government’s success in improving the country’s economic situation and its dedication to national interest in decision-making processes. He underscored the government’s commitment to laying down an action plan for the incoming elected government, which he believes will significantly benefit the people and the nation’s interests.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of collective efforts towards Pakistan’s development and stability, reflecting on the cabinet’s efficient performance during its tenure.
