Federal Cabinet Advances 27th Constitutional Amendment Draft

Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet has advanced the 27th Constitutional Amendment draft, a significant step towards parliamentary review. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, convening the meeting from Baku via video link, expressed gratitude to coalition leaders and cabinet members for their support.

The amendment draft, aimed at enhancing federal and provincial relations, will now proceed to parliamentary debate. During the session, the Prime Minister commended the Ministry of Law and Justice, the Attorney General, and their teams for their collaborative efforts in drafting the amendment.

Acknowledging coalition allies, including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Abdul Aleem Khan, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Khalid Hussain Magsi, Sharif emphasized the importance of unity in driving national progress.

The Prime Minister highlighted the nation’s progress towards political and economic stability, attributing it to collective efforts. He called for continued collaboration to ensure the country’s development and prosperity.
