Islamabad, The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) held a significant meeting with representatives from various Trade Unions to address concerns and enhance the implementation of the Tajir Dost Scheme, aiming to improve tax compliance among traders.
According to Federal Board of Revenue, the session focused on the need for clearer taxation guidelines for newly registered traders, with trade union representatives highlighting the current ambiguities that deter retailer participation in the scheme. The FBR and the Chief Coordinator of the Tajir Dost Scheme, Naeem Mir, solicited a unified proposal from the trade unions to resolve these issues within a week. The meeting underscores the FBR’s dedication to fostering a collaborative environment conducive to the growth of trade and enhancing tax culture in Pakistan.
