Islamabad, Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Malik Amjed Zubair Tiwana, organized an E-Kachehri at FBR headquarters on Thursday. This initiative was undertaken to further the FBR’s objective of assisting taxpayers in compliance and addressing their tax-related queries.
According to FBR, during the session, Chairman FBR took phone calls directly from taxpayers, addressing their concerns. Immediate directions were provided to relevant departments to promptly resolve the issues presented. The Chairman urged taxpayers to utilize their nearest Regional Tax Office and Collectorate of Customs for swift resolution regarding tax return filings. Furthermore, he informed them of the instructions given to Field Formations to ensure the utmost assistance for taxpayers.
Taking note of the feedback received, Chairman Tiwana appreciated the suggestions put forth by the taxpayers. He assured that such valuable insights will play a pivotal role in shaping future tax policies and initiatives aimed at facilitating taxpayers. The Chairman emphasized the FBR’s dedication to easing the tax process for citizens. The E-Kachehri serves as an avenue not only for taxpayers to voice their grievances and seek prompt solutions but also fosters tax compliance and expands outreach.
