Fatal Road Accident in Rajouri Claims One Life, Injures Three


Jammu: A tragic road accident in the Gambhir Mughalan area of Rajouri district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) resulted in the death of a young man and injuries to three others on Thursday. The incident occurred when a vehicle lost control and plunged into a river.



According to Kashmir Media Service, local police officials reported that the accident involved a Tata mobile vehicle with the registration number JK12A9878. The vehicle, which was traveling from Poonch towards Rajouri, veered off the road after the driver lost control, subsequently crashing into the river.



The collision led to the death of Tahir Ahmad, an 18-year-old from Sayila Surankote. The injured individuals were identified as Ashfaq Ahmad, 40, Muzamil Hussain, 29, and Arbaz Sheikh, 25. All the victims hailed from Surankote and were promptly transported to GMC Rajouri for medical treatment.
