Srinagar: A tragic road accident on the Srinagar-Ladakh Highway near the Manigam area of Ganderbal district resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to her son.
According to Kashmir Media Service announcement issued on 19 July 2024, the accident occurred today when the scooter they were riding collided with a truck. The woman, identified as Aasha Begum, wife of Ghulam Mohammad Lone from Hakeem Gund, Ganderbal, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Her son, who was injured in the accident, has been transported to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.
