Fatal Collision and Bus Accident in Jammu and Samba Leave One Student Dead, 14 Injured


Jammu: A student lost her life and fourteen others were injured in two separate vehicular accidents in the districts of Jammu and Samba, located in the region of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the first tragic incident occurred when a mini-bus collided head-on with a car and overturned near the Bata showroom in Kunjwani, Jammu district. The accident claimed the life of an 18-year-old girl, identified as Surbhi Kumari from Jallo Chak, Gangyal. In addition to the fatality, eight individuals, including six students, sustained injuries and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital. The injured were named as Saina, 16, Goutam Sharma, 25, Akesh Mohan, 39, Muskan Sharma, 16, Sarita, 16, Nisha, 16, Sumit Kumar, 16, and Shivani, 14.



In a separate incident in Samba district, six children were injured when their school bus veered off the Sumbh Goran road this afternoon. Authorities confirmed that all the injured children were quickly transported to medical facilities for treatment.



Both accidents are currently under investigation by local authorities to determine the causes and potential preventive measures to avoid similar incidents in the future.
