Islamabad, September 05, 2023 (PPI-OT):Senior APHC-AJK leader Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has paid rich tributes to Sheikh Tajammul-ul-Islam on his 2nd death anniversary. Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad said, as Director of the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), for a long time, and journalist, he played a great role in highlighting the struggle of the Kashmiris.

Sheikh Tajammul, he said, proved to be a key advocate of the Kashmir cause by documenting human rights atrocities by India in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He published different periodicals and wrote articles on the Kashmir dispute and India’s gross human rights violations in the besieged region and participated in various international seminars highlighting the ongoing movement of Kashmir.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that the deceased would be always remembered for his contribution to the freedom struggle of Kashmir. Meanwhile, Tehreek Wahdat-e-Islami paying glowing tribute to the visionary Kashmiri leader, eminent scholar, intellectual and journalist Sheikh Tajammul-ul-Islam on his second death anniversary in a statement issued in Srinagar said that he had remained staunch advocate of the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle throughout his life. The party spokesman said that the late leader had dedicated himself to the freedom cause and during his stay in Pakistan, he kept exposing Indian machinations and its ugly face to the world through his writings and speeches.

Praying for the high ranks of the departed soul, the spokesman said that Sheikh Tajammul-ul-Islam’s matchless services in the way of freedom struggle would always be remembered.
