Islamabad, A poignant farewell ceremony was held for the former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, marking the end of his tenure. The event took place at the Central Police Office in Islamabad, celebrating his achievements and contributions to the police force and the community.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, Dr. Khan, in his farewell address, reflected on his tenure, emphasizing the principles of non-discrimination and strict adherence to law enforcement. He expressed pride in the accomplishments of his team, which improved safety and law enforcement in the capital, serving both residents and foreign visitors with distinction.
Dr. Khan lauded the cooperative spirit within the police force, recognizing the efforts of all ranks in upholding the law and maintaining public order. He reiterated the importance of lawful conduct in policing, setting a standard for the entire country’s police forces to aspire to.
