Islamabad, November 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhar Imam has underlined the dire need for livestock census in the country. He was addressing a seminar on ‘How to enhance milk production’ and a Dairy Product show at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He said that accurate data will help evolve an effective strategy for the promotion of livestock sector.
He said that Pakistan is far behind in animal breeding, and this area needs to be worked on. Syed Fakhar Imam said that the youth of Pakistan needs to be brought towards animal science so that livestock sector can be built on modern lines.
