Karachi, December 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):Faisal Karim Kundi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Security, met Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri at the Governor House. In the meeting, measures to eradicate poverty in the province, financial assistance to deserving people, efforts of the federal government in this regard and other matters of mutual interest were discussed. Governor Sindh said that Benazir Income Support Program is playing an important role in helping the deserving people and it is necessary to further increase the scope of this program.
He further said that more measures are necessary for the rehabilitation of the flood victims of the province. Faisal Karim Kundi said that scholarships are being given to deserving people under Benazir Income Support Program in all the districts of the province.
