Islamabad, In a move intended to support and uplift regional newspapers, Dr. Tariq Mahmood Khan, the Principal Information Officer, has committed to ensuring an equitable distribution of advertisements across all newspapers.
According to a news release by the Press International Department, Dr. Tariq Mahmood Khan met with Chairman Chaudhry Qurban Hussain, Vice Chairman Atiq Khan, President Faraz Khattak, and other association members. The association’s leadership expressed their appreciation for the Principal Information Officer’s approach towards the advertisement distribution process. Dr. Khan underscored the significance of regional newspapers and confirmed that steps are currently underway to enhance the prospects of these newspapers. Central to this endeavor is the pledge to ensure a just and balanced allocation of advertisements to all newspapers, regardless of their size or reach.
