Islamabad: The export of Pakistani sports goods to China has experienced a notable rise, increasing by 6.68% over the past year. This growth is reflected in the export of $10.7 million worth of sports equipment to China, highlighting the strengthening trade relationship between the two nations.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the boost in exports can be attributed to the country’s sports industry’s growing global recognition, supported by governmental efforts and the Special Investment Facilitation Council. Pakistani-made basketballs and volleyballs have gained popularity in Chinese schools and professional leagues, underscoring the quality of the products.
China’s reliance on Pakistani sports equipment for its major sporting events preparation signifies the confidence placed in Pakistan’s manufacturing standards. The collaboration between the two countries has also been facilitated by China’s advanced technology and extensive trade network, which have significantly impacted Pakistan’s sports industry.
China remains a crucial market for Pakistan, offering new opportunities for the country’s sports goods sector to expand. The continued partnership is expected to further enhance Pakistan’s export capabilities and strengthen economic ties with China.
