ISLAMABAD: The 9th International Water Conference, focusing on ‘Emerging Technologies for Water Security and Socio-Economic Development,’ is set to commence in Islamabad on Tuesday. The two-day event at the OIC-COMSTECH Secretariat will bring together global experts to tackle pressing water management challenges.
The conference aims to facilitate knowledge exchange among researchers, practitioners, academicians, and policymakers. Participants will engage in various academic presentations, panel discussions, and technical sessions designed to foster collaboration and share insights.
Over 80 scholarly papers will be presented, covering topics such as Environment and Climate Change, Food and Agriculture, and Artificial Intelligence for Water Security. The discussions are expected to inform policy and stimulate innovative approaches to sustainable water resource management.
