Lahore: A new examination schedule has been announced for the recruitment of various revenue officers in Punjab, which will be conducted in a two-phase process. The initial phase will test candidates on their general knowledge and basic computer skills, while the second phase will be reserved for those who succeed in the first.
According to Public Service Commission Punjab, the first phase, scheduled for December 15, 2024, will consist of a 100 multiple-choice question paper. This examination will evaluate candidates’ general knowledge and basic computer competencies. Only candidates who meet the required criteria in this initial test will be eligible to proceed to the subsequent phase of the examination.
The decision affects the recruitment process for positions including Tehsildar, Consolidation Officer, Hill Torrent Officer, and Reader to Members Board of Revenue. This structured approach aims to ensure that only qualified candidates advance to the more specialized assessments that follow.
