Islamabad: The European Union Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Raimundas Karoblis, met with Federal Minister for Law and Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, at the Ministry of Human Rights today. The meeting centered on strengthening collaboration between the EU and Pakistan on human rights issues.
Minister Tarar expressed gratitude for the EU’s ongoing assistance in Pakistan’s endeavors to protect human rights.
Key topics of conversation included the “EU Huqooq-e-Pakistan II” program, Pakistan’s National Action Plan on Human Rights, and arrangements for the EU’s GSP+ Monitoring Mission scheduled for November.
Both parties reiterated their dedication to working closely together and achieving constructive results in promoting human rights.
