Ethiopian Ambassador Urges Pakistani Businessmen to Tap Into African Markets via Ethiopia

Islamabad, In a bid to foster deeper commercial ties between Pakistan and Africa, Ethiopian Ambassador to Pakistan, Jemal Beker Abdula, has beckoned Pakistani traders to explore the vast and untapped opportunities in Ethiopia and the larger African continent.

According to a news release by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Abdula addressed local businessmen, underscoring the potential benefits of a more pronounced Pakistani commercial footprint in Africa. With a continent-wide population exceeding 1.4 billion, Africa represents a significant arena for trade and investment.

Highlighting Africa’s pivotal role in future global commerce, Abdula urged Pakistani entrepreneurs to be proactive in leveraging these expansive opportunities. Furthermore, the Ambassador extended a commitment on behalf of the Ethiopian government, assuring full support to Pakistani investors. He also invited them to lay the foundation for dedicated economic zones within Ethiopia, signaling the nation’s readiness for deeper bilateral economic collaboration.
