Islamabad: The Special Envoy and Ambassador Extraordinary of Ethiopia, Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula, held a meeting with Pakistan’s Defence Secretary Muhammad Ali to discuss the enhancement of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two nations.

The meeting focused on reviewing the current status of the bilateral relationship, with both parties expressing a mutual commitment to deepening these ties.

Ambassador Dr. Jemal provided an update on the significant reforms implemented in Ethiopia under Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed’s leadership.

The discussion also highlighted the increased pace in bilateral relations, attributed to the establishment of the Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad and the initiation of Ethiopian Airlines’ operations in Pakistan.
