Islamabad, September 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister of State and Chairman Prime Minister’s Task Force for Gandhara Tourism, Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani says the establishment of Gandhara Corridor is indispensable for development and prosperity of the country.
He was talking to the media during his visit to the ancient Manthal Buddha Rock in Gilgit Baltistan along with a delegation of Japanese experts and local citizens.
He said these tourists will land at Islamabad International Airport from where they will be facilitated to visit Gandhara spots in coordination with the provincial authorities.
Speaking on the occasion, members of the Japanese delegation said it is a heartfelt desire of the citizens of Buddhist-majority countries to visit Gandhara spots located in Gilgit-Baltistan.
