Erdogan Honored for Youth Empowerment at Istanbul Ceremony


Istanbul: In a ceremony that underscored international recognition for his leadership, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was honored by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) for his efforts in youth empowerment.



The Grand Youth Award Ceremony, which took place on June 20, 2025, in Istanbul, was attended by various dignitaries, including Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who serves as both the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan. Dar was present at the event upon invitation from Türkiye’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan.



During the ceremony, Senator Dar conveyed the Pakistani nation’s and its leadership’s congratulations to President Erdogan for the accolade, highlighting the significance of Erdogan’s contribution to empowering young people. The event reflected a broader acknowledgment of Erdogan’s dedication to youth initiatives within the Islamic world.



The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the award recognizes President Erdogan’s “exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication” to advancing opportunities and development for the youth. The ceremony was a part of ongoing efforts by ICYF to promote youth engagement across member countries.
