Energy Minister Ensures Continuous Power Supply During Ramadan


Islamabad, In a move to facilitate the residents during Ramadan, Energy Minister Musadik Malik has directed energy providers to ensure a continuous supply of gas and electricity during Sehar and Iftar times. The directive came shortly after Malik took charge of his new role in Islamabad, where he expressed the government’s strong dedication to serving the public’s needs.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Malik’s initiative is part of a broader government effort to address the energy sector’s challenges, including the pressing issue of circular debt. The Minister’s commitment extends beyond immediate fixes, as he pledged comprehensive support to both local and international investors within the gas and minerals sectors. This approach signals a commitment to long-term energy sector stability and growth, reinforcing the government’s focus on ensuring the well-being of its citizens and the robustness of its energy infrastructure.
