Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing Hosts “Pakistan in Frames”: A Photo Exhibition by Chinese Tour Operators


Beijing: The Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing today unveiled a photo exhibition titled “Pakistan in Frames: A Visual Journey by Chinese Tour Operators.” The event showcased the rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes of Pakistan, captured by Chinese tour operators who visited Islamabad, Taxila, and Gilgit-Baltistan. This exhibit, part of the year-long China-Pakistan Tourism Exchanges in 2023, highlighted various themes such as Pakistan’s Northern Splendour, the ancient Gandhara civilization, and the China-Pakistan friendship.



According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Khalil Hashmi spoke at the event, praising the exceptional quality of the photographs taken by the Chinese tour operators. He remarked that the images not only showcased the scenic beauty of Pakistan but also underscored the deep cultural and historical connections that foster mutual understanding between Pakistan and China. Hashmi emphasized that the exhibition represents the shared aspirations and dreams of both nations.



Ms. York Feng from Qyer.com, speaking on behalf of the Chinese tour operators, shared her experiences and the memorable aspects of her visit to Pakistan. She pointed out the significant tourism potential of Pakistan. Additionally, Professor Li Xiguang from the Pakistan Cultural Communication Centre at Tsinghua University discussed his frequent travels to Pakistan and the country’s importance as a cradle of ancient civilizations like Gandhara and the Indus Valley.



The event attracted a notable crowd, including diplomats, artists, students, and media representatives, all of whom appreciated the visual journey through Pakistan. The embassy announced plans to continue promoting people-to-people exchanges and strengthening ties between the two nations through various upcoming activities.
