Islamabad, The National Assembly is set to conduct elections for the positions of Speaker and Deputy Speaker on Friday, as announced by the current Speaker, Raja Pervez Ashraf. The elections will be carried out through a secret ballot process. Candidates vying for these prestigious roles have submitted their nomination papers to the Secretary of the National Assembly.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Speaker Ashraf disclosed the election schedule during a session that was subsequently adjourned until ten o’clock tomorrow morning.
