Election Commission of Pakistan Establishes Counters for Electoral Objections in Islamabad

Islamabad, In a significant move to facilitate the electoral process, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has established four counters at its secretariat in Islamabad for addressing and guiding on electoral objections. This initiative aims to streamline the process for registering electoral objections, with a separate counter dedicated to each of the country’s provinces.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these counters are located in front of the Commission’s building, ensuring easy access for individuals seeking to register their electoral objections. The establishment of these counters reflects the ECP’s commitment to ensuring a transparent and accessible electoral process, by providing direct support and guidance to the public on matters related to electoral objections.

The decision to set up these counters comes at a crucial time as the country prepares for upcoming electoral events. By offering a dedicated space for each province, the ECP aims to cater to the specific needs and concerns of individuals from different regions, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of the objection registration process.

This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Election Commission of Pakistan to strengthen democracy and promote fair electoral practices across the country. By addressing electoral objections promptly and effectively, the ECP is working towards ensuring that all citizens have a voice in the electoral process.
