Islamabad, The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a statement reinforcing its commitment to conducting free, fair, and transparent general elections. The statement comes in response to unfounded allegations by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf party regarding the Commission’s integrity.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, reported that the Election Commission denounced these accusations, particularly at a juncture when the general elections date has been set by consensus. The Commission’s spokesperson emphasized that the body is an independent constitutional institution that will not yield to any form of propaganda or political pressure.
